Bei Sonnenaufgang mache ich mich in Richtung Wasserfall auf, beim Geradeaus- und Hochgehen schmerzt mein Fuss kaum, hoffentlich bleibt\u2018s so. Ich umrunde die Burney Falls mittels eines Sidetrails zum PCT, kann den recht massiven Wasserfall aus mehreren Richtungen bestaunen. Das Interessante ist, dass die tosenden Wassermassen keine Meile weiter oben einfach so aus dem Boden hervortquellen, der Fall wird quasi direkt von Acquiferen gespiesen, eindr\u00fccklich! Nach einer knappen Stunde habe ich alles Sehenswerte gesehen und laufe auf dem PCT weiter bis zum Lake Britton Dam. Da dieser gerade erneuert wird, werden die PCT-Hiker durch die Baustelle eskortiert, eine kleine Geschichtsstunde inklusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images restlichen Tag quasi nur in eine Richtung, und zwar nach oben. Die ersten 15km verlaufen im satten Gr\u00fcn, nach dem Lunch wechselt die Szenerie zu einem Gang \u00fcber eine ellenlange Ridgeline mit phantastischer Aussicht auf den Mount Shasta, der immer n\u00e4her kommt. Ich entdecke einige sch\u00f6ne neue Blumensorten, staune \u00fcber die Orangen-grossen Pusteblumen und versuche den Markierungscode der F\u00f6rster zu entziffern, die mit unterschiedlich farbigen B\u00e4ndern die B\u00e4ume markiert haben. Zu guter Letzt komme ich beim Moosehead Creek an, wo ich mein Zelt aufstelle. Es folgen noch etliche Hiker mehr, und beim lauschigen Lagerfeuer plaudert es sich noch einige Zeit. Mein Fuss hat die Strapazen mitgemacht, der l\u00e4dierte Zeh sieht unver\u00e4ndert ungesund aus. Ich gebe mir noch bis in Dunsmuir, wenn\u2018s nicht bessert, muss ich zum Arzt\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2
